Murray David Publishing is a book publishing company based in the Northern suburbs of Sydney, Australia.

 

The company's comprehensive publishing list specialises in children’s books and general non-fiction; including gardening, cookery, wine, history, Australian poetry and folklore, educational, flora, fauna, travel and dramatic pictorial Australiana for the domestic, international and tourist markets. It also includes a large range of themed address, birthday, family history and note books, as well as cards, gift boxes, gift bags, wrapping paper, and stationery.

Murray David Publishing represents several authors and illustrators and works with many talented photographers and designers. Some of the authors represented include May Gibbs, Michael Salmon and Martin Killips. Some of the photographers Murray David works with include Geoff Higgins, Ken Stepnell, and the late James Young.

Murray David’s collection of titles is ever growing and aims at servicing all areas of the Australian and international markets.

 

Murray David Publishing is proud of its relationship with Northcott Disability Services and The Spastic Centre of NSW in producing a comprehensive range of May Gibbs books. This project has involved the colouring of many of May Gibbs' black and white illustrations, and adapting these and her stories to a series of books. Royalties received go directly to these two very worthwhile charities.
