Murray David Publishing was established in 1997 as a result of the merger between the companies owned by Marion Child and David Jenkins. Marion and David have more than 70 years of experience in all aspects of the general book publishing industry in Australia and overseas. David Forsythe, a chartered accountant with many years of experience in publishing and other industries recently joined the business and established M2D Publishing Pty Ltd, of which Marion Child, David Jenkins and David Forsythe are principal owners. This new umbrella company was formed to drive the local and international development of Murray David Publishing.

Leading the children’s range is the brand new collection of MAY GIBBS titles. Snugglepot and Cuddlepie, Little Obelia and Little Ragged Blossom, head a rapidly growing list of these favourite and perennial children’s character titles—all in FULL COLOUR. Murray David Publishing also sees huge potential in the market for well-written and illustrated Australian history books for upper primary and lower high school grades and has developed a range which will ultimately comprise 75 titles to fill the current gap in the market place. The books are all good quality and low priced so that young students have the opportunity

of using a copy for study and one for school projects.
